Mr. Doss jumped on the massive new Major Lazer single featuring Pharrell Williams "Aerosol Can" before everyone else and created a devastating Trap anthem! Major Lazer – Aerosol Can (feat. Pharrell Williams) [NEW EP APOCALYPSE SOON]

noreply@blogger.com (Eric Robberts) — Tue, 04 Feb 2014 02:48:00 +0000

Major Lazer dropped their first single off of their upcoming Apocalypse Soon EP with one of the hottest star at the moment, Pharrell Williams. "Aerosol Can" has a pretty minimalistic instrumental but Pharrell kills it with a mad flow as usual. Can't help thinking that Pusha T and Malice would have made it even better.

You can stream Major Lazer – Aerosol Can (feat. Pharrell Williams) below and preorder the 5 song EP via Mad Decent. EP drops on February 25th.

[BIG ROOM] Rest In Piece Sonic C (Anthony Rodriguez): Stickin' (TheCasaBrothers edit) and a tribute album?

noreply@blogger.com (Humberto J Mendez) — Fri, 31 Jan 2014 00:12:00 +0000

As many of you have now heard from other music sites and news sites, Dim Mak artist, Anthony Rodriguez (Sonic C) was confirmed dead last week from a car crash on Krome Ave in Miami. Anthony was on his way back from a bonfire with his good friend Gabriel Hernandez, when a Dodge Durango SUV driven by 19 year old Erick Betancourt veered into oncoming traffic and smashed into a Chevy Cavalier (carrying Anthony and his friend Gabriel). The reason I didn't write about this as soon as it happened was because I had a hard time getting to write this article. I personally knew Anthony (Sonic C). We met last year at the birthday bash of Ruben Cardenas from TheCasaBrothers. From then on I knew he was a true gem. He was modest, he was happy, he was true to himself. It's sad to say that I lost a great friend, and an idol.

Anthony came back from Colorado two weeks before the accident after being there for almost six months. During those six months he barely contacted me, TheCasaBrothers, his other friends, and even his manager Ben Puig of Techibeats. He told us that he went to Colorado to find himself and to clear his mind. When he came back, Ruben told me he was as eager to work as ever. His mind was clear and he was ready to work on his new project as "Tony Colorado". The night before the accident, he was in the studio with Ruben Cardenas and Lewis Martinee of TheCasaBrothers working on a new track with them. Little did we all know it would be his last project ever. It's been rough on all of us, but Anthony won't go out without a bang.

TheCasaBrothers were put in charge of finishing his projects with some of Anthony's closest friends. A tribute album will soon come out on Dim Mak for Anthony featuring some of his unreleased work, and his last project as well. You're gone, but you aren't forgotten man. We miss you, I miss you, rest in piece Anthony Sonic C Rodriguez.

[TRAP] [EVIL] Enzo Picardi x HLTR$KLTR - VEIL

noreply@blogger.com (Humberto J Mendez) — Mon, 27 Jan 2014 23:07:00 +0000

When you put two great artists in a studio together, you're sure to see some amazing results. Enzo Picardi and HLTR$KLTR may have just made one of my favorite festival trap tracks of this year for now. It starts off strong, it ends stronger. The intro, short, suspenseful, and definitely evil! The first drop is already bound to make you loose your shit, but it's only the beginning. This track is like a roller coaster that doesn't give you much breaks. Drop, build up, drop, build up, and wait a second... IS THAT HARDSTYLE? OH HELL NAW SON! Get this guaranteed banger now for FREE!!!

Maarten Vorwerk: The saga continues... (How the biggest EDM tracks of 2013 are a sham)

noreply@blogger.com (Eric Robberts) — Sat, 18 Jan 2014 02:18:00 +0000

[PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE JUST SPECULATIONS, MAARTEN VORWERK & JOSH HERMAN DENIED THE EXISTENCE OF THE CONTRACT MENTIONED IN THIS ARTICLE]

First of all, you must read this article about Maarten Vorwerk before you keep reading this post since what you are reading now is kind of part 2. I've just received by a source that wants to remain anonymous a copy of a contract between "Maarten Vorwerk" and "J. Herman" for the purchase of two recordings "Master-demos" for the "very decent" price of €30,000. Is the contract real? is the contract fake? unfortunately we can't tell 100% since it's from an anonymous source but note that DVBBS' manager and Maarten Vorkerk denied its existence.

My first question was "Who is J. Herman?" (Because we already know who Maarten Vorwerk is). After a few google searches and digging around I found out that Mr Herman is actually DVBBS, Borgeous and Down with Webster's manager from Strvctvre management.

After finding that out, it kinda made sense! Maarten was already ghost producing for Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and now DVBBS and Borgeous wanted in too.

So what are the 2 "master-demos" or songs involved in this contract? You might have guessed it already, "TSUNAMI" and "STAMPEDE", two of the biggest EDM songs of 2013 (if not the biggest)! (If the song names don't ring a bell, listen below, you've heard them before, no doubt about that!)

So what does all that means? That means our friend Maarten Vorwerk ghost produced some massive bangers and sold them instead of releasing them as his own. I believe fans deserve to know who is responsible for creating any given song, and should not be deceived. Using someone else’s work for your own gain, even if it’s purchased is wrong and goes against what making art/music is all about.

If you want to have a look at more music that Maarten Vorwerk ghost produced check out his allmusic.com page. Can't believe he even produced for Will.i.am!

UPDATE #1: Josh Herman contacted me personally accusing me of creating this fake contract which I can assure you I didn't (I have some photoshop skills but not anything close to being able to do something like this). He told me this is a forged signature and that this is defamation so I've removed the contract from the post.

[FESTIVAL MUSIC] Martin Garrix - Animals (Victor Niglio Twerk VIP) + The return of JSTJR + 3 BONUS FREE DOWNLOADS !

noreply@blogger.com (Eric Robberts) — Thu, 16 Jan 2014 07:51:00 +0000

I had to make a quick post since these 5 tracks are absolute must haves! Victor Niglio dropped his official "Animals" remix on beatport not too long ago and now he decided to give away a real dope Twerk VIP of the same song, Martin Garrix's EDM song of the year. If this wasn't enough, JSTJR is back and he dropped a groovy-heavy Zouk bass banger that would make any crowd start raving! Along these 2 gems, grab L0tso and DJ Scrap's festival remixes of Showtek's "We like to party" and Martin Garrix & Jay Hardway's "Wizard" and Catty Womp's "Let's get to Work", a dope as fvck twerk anthem with amazing moombah influences. This playlist has festival written all over it, this music is definitely made for Big Rooms and is best enjoyed with lazers. Enjoy the free music!

[CHILLWAVE] [EXPERIMENTAL] Artist Spotlight: Mister Mack

noreply@blogger.com (Humberto J Mendez) — Wed, 15 Jan 2014 22:31:00 +0000

New year new fads. I'm not calling myself a modern day Nostradamus but I know great music when I hear it. That being said, I do see music like chillwave, techno, and garage house slowly but surely making its way to the hearts of you listeners soon enough. Many of you know artists like Disclosure, snakeships, and Ta-Ku; but there is some serious underground talent that has yet to be discovered in these genres. One of these upcoming artists is Maryland resident, Mister Mack. If I were to have to describe his style it would be Snakeships meets Toro Y Moi with a hint of Tokimonsta. His work with soft synths, vocal snipits, and his great mastering has led me to really enjoy his projects. Mister Mack is currently part of a hip hop/Jazz collective called Mack Five. He is working on a new solo EP as well. Keep up with his latest projects by following his soundcloud and twitter (links below).

[ELECTRO] [COMPLEXTRO] James Egbert - Exit Wounds Feat. Nina Sung (Cappa Regime Remix)

noreply@blogger.com (Humberto J Mendez) — Tue, 07 Jan 2014 21:35:00 +0000

Many of you may have heard of them because of their performance at EDC LV as the discovery project winners, and many of you may just be hearing of them now. Regardless of the category you fall in, you will be sure to love them after listening to this beautifully done remix of James Egbert's track "Exit Wounds." The vocals, so tastefully used, the chords accompanying the vocals with such grace, and we sure as hell can't forget the drop. If I were to attempt to compare this to artists it would be Porter Robinson meets Ghostkick with a little taste of adventure club; but at the end of it all, you can't compare it to anything. It's Cappa Regime! We found your new favorite track, now go download this masterpiece for free!

[TWERK] TheCasaBrothers x Lemony Snickettes - Give Me More ft. ToBy #ExplainTwerking

noreply@blogger.com (Humberto J Mendez) — Wed, 01 Jan 2014 19:42:00 +0000

MILEY, PLEASE TWERK TO THIS! This track is the definition of twerk music! The crowd response it had last week at most of the Miami shows going on (LIC, LIC afterparty, etc) has been nothing but crazy. Supported by artists like DJCraze, Party Favor and more, it is truly a soon to be anthem. The vocal sample right before the drop gets you exited for what is to come, Miami rapper ToBy keeps you hyped throughout the whole track and who can forget that drop and breakdown?! Be ready to hear this at every darn show you go to because there is no way this track won't be a crowd favorite.

Even if Moomabah music (Moombahton, Moombahcore, Moombahsoul, etc) is not at the peak of its popularity, I personally always enjoy a good 110 BPM rhythm! Artists like Ricky Vaughn and Munchi are the ones that keep this groovy sub genre of EDM alive! This compilation features music by Hellmer, Ill Gates, Masia One, Kapo, Timmy Tutone, Selecta Doc, The Imperial System, Bro Safari, Munchi, Ricky Vaughn, Rotten Ralphie, Calvin Harris, Krewella and Tabs. Best of [BIG ROOM & MELBOURNE] - 32 FREE DOWNLOADS [Q4]

noreply@blogger.com (Eric Robberts) — Wed, 01 Jan 2014 06:04:00 +0000

2013, clearly the year of Big Room and Trap music, is now behind us but the mega playlists are still coming! This one has the be the one you guys must have been waiting for the most (if I rely on the stats)! However this compilation has something different from the other Big Room playlists, I added a few Melbourne bangers in there, good idea? I'm not a big fan of Melbourne to be honest, most of it sounds like a mashup between Big Room and 90's dance music to me. To give you an idea of what to expect in this playlist, here's a few names featured: Deorro, Chuckie, Promise Land, I Am Legion, JCR, Calvin Harris, Alesso, Gesaffelstein, Valentino Khan, DVBBS, F3tto, Avicii, Defreakz, MxM, Martin Garrix, Jay Hardway, Cedric Gervais and a lot lot more! Enjoy the good music, keep a positive vibe and may 2014 bring you health and prosperity!

[TECHNO] PumpkinG - Confuse Ray (Original Mix)

noreply@blogger.com (Humberto J Mendez) — Tue, 31 Dec 2013 21:55:00 +0000

We all know techno is slowly but surely coming back! With artists like Gasselfelstein and Brodinski putting it back up on the map, there is no way it won't be the next EDM trend (in my opinion). With that being said, more and more underground producers are having a try at this lost gem of a genre. I've been sent countless techno tracks but none have caught my eye (more like ear) more than this beautifully structured track by Miami producer, Pumpking. It starts with a fairly simple drum loop and it slowly starts progressing into the amazing track that it is. The growls in the second break down at first sort of catch you by surprise. But that's the great part about it! This track makes sure you pay 100% full attention to it. It wants you to listen to every layer. That's what makes this track so different. That's what makes this track post worthy.

noreply@blogger.com (Eric Robberts) — Tue, 31 Dec 2013 00:48:00 +0000

Trill Ferrell is definitely a unique pair, consisting of Nick Hyde and Danny Canick, they are coming up with fresh vibes and inspiring sounds on their debut EP "TH!R$TY". With anything from Hip Hop to trilled out Trap tracks with a Dubstep influence to "in your face" Big Room, "TH!R$TY" is an orgy of EDM flavors.

The first track on the EP, "Juice X Dro" featuring Kid Karma, is a blend of Hip Hop & Dubstep vibes with a little trill flair in there. The song has been featured in the official Dancefestopia recap video (see youtube video at the bottom of this post). The original & instrumental versions are available on the EP.

The second track is "DMND CUTTRZ", an upbeat, Big Room tune using sounds that will catch your attention in a completely different way, with a heavy House vibe but still dropping with energy that just makes you wanna move.

noreply@blogger.com (Eric Robberts) — Fri, 27 Dec 2013 03:17:00 +0000

We received this unreleased Zeds Dead track from an anonymous source today, I did a few searches on google and didn't find anything relevant and shazam didn't bring any results. The song still had (DEMO) in the title when I got it. Zeds Dead or not, the song is a cool mellow dubstep track with a great vocal! Use the Zippyshare link below to download the high quality 320kbps for free. Thoughts?

EDIT: It seems the song is actually "Ricky Vaughn - Unstoppable Ft DFace".

Best of [TRAP/BASS/TWERK] - 70 FREE DOWNLOADS (Part 1) [Q4]

noreply@blogger.com (Eric Robberts) — Sun, 22 Dec 2013 10:57:00 +0000

To celebrate our 25 000 fans on Facebook today and after the huge success of the "Russian Girl Twerks Better" video with Stak Octvz's "KTF (White Women)" on top (reached 3 000 000 people on facebook alone as I am writing this) I felt the need to drop a massive compilation of Trap, Bass and Twerk music for you guys! Since the playlist is a bit oversized, I decided to split it into two parts to make it more convenient (and improve the page load speed), so you get part 1 today and part 2 tomorrow, seems like a fair deal? In this part, you get remixes and original music by Drake, Motion and Manipulation, ForeverKID, John Newman, Caked Up, Disclosure, The Weeknd, Clipse, Jay-Z, Cedric Gervais, Tony Junior, Ricky Vaughn, Childish Gambino, Shelco Garcia, Lorde and Krewella just to name a few. Thanks for all the love you gave us in 2013, we won't stop bringing you the best free downloads from all over the web! Much love!

[TRANCE] Keegan Tawa- More Than Man ft. Kathleen Warner

noreply@blogger.com (Humberto J Mendez) — Sat, 21 Dec 2013 17:01:00 +0000

Now, I don't mean to brag but I tend to know a future hit when I hear one. That being said, "More Than Man" seems to have made it's way into one being one of my favorite songs in a matter of minutes. I'm saying this track has been on repeat since it was debuted just about a day ago. The vocals, so well mastered and crisp. The melody is the type that makes you feel like you are front row at A State Of Trance. You can tell that it took some serious work to make this track. Keegan is nothing less than a musical genius. And for that we thank him. We thank him for sharing the track with us, we thank him for making such amazing music. And we thank him for still making music that shows emotion.
