Turnsteak duo is back on the front scene with their new EP "Drifting away".
The two fellows deliver productions that are rythmical, epileptic, and sexy and the same time, going further in the definition of their own sound characteristics: movement, futuristic effects, and bleeps of all kind that install them as some of the most serious actors of the growing french scene. Get ready for some sick glitch and bass music!
Sorry I just love that pic of Lindsay. This most likely isn't 320 but it is still high quality. I don't expect the rise of Knife Party to slow down anytime soon, I'm sure they will be touring hard this summer, and with that tour expect great future releases.
This is a stand out track from my internet searching as of this week. It has a great feel good vibe, and would work in a party, or even better in a nice car with the sun out and the sunroof open. Let this warm you up if you live in a cold place. Check out his soundcloud here.
Back From The Future has blessed us with a rare thing: a Skrillex remix that is so good, you totally forget it was ever a Skrillex track to begin with. In my opinion, this track is miles ahead of the original.
A beautiful melody with a few really well placed samples breaks down into a gritty growling bassline that is filthy enough to please the harder tastes, while still being very pretty and emotional. My only complaint is that Ellie Goulding's amazing voice is only featured for a very short period in the middle of the track, other than the ever-present chopped sample with heavy effects over it. I could listen to her buttery voice over a dozen dubstep tracks in a row and never get tired of it, but enough about my crush....mad big-ups to Back From The Future on this wicked transformation!
This Electro/Dubstep duo from San Diego is making some serious moves and putting out a bunch of quality poppy remixes and original tracks with really great vocal samples lately. Expect to hear more about them in the near future. If their style is your thing, be sure to catch them on Facebook and hit up their Soundcloud for a ton of free tracks and mixes!
This track is just to good to be true. A great remix for sure! I love what Them Jean's did to the vocals. I wish the guy would go on touring with a bigger name sometime, but I think the guy is happy just hanging out and having steady gig's in LA. Check out his soundcloud here.
Hurray for amazing remixes of Justice. Let us bow our heads and thank the masters, and the other masters who dare to remix the legendary duo in tasteful fashion. This remix will have most dance floors packed.
Following his Top 10 of 2011's top EDM tracks, Here is his latest mashup which is exclusive to Electrokill.Info. Those two tracks go perfectly together so the final result is pretty sweet. New Hero is a huge trance head which is why this mashup as a little trancy touch although it is not trance. I can not categorize it in any particular EDM category but I can tell you that it is definitely in the ``GOOD MUSIC`` category. Download, Share, Enjoy and most of all, don't forget to support New Hero on Facebook and Soundcloud.
The Chaotic Good is back with another banger. It has a sort of chopped and screwed vibe to it, and is sure to sound great over some loud speakers. Why don't you download it and give it a try? Also do the man a favor and like his facebook page so you can keep up to date with his future endeavors.
Ed Banger in the house! Can't wait to see Justice with their new live show at Atlanta in March. I suggest you youtube the videos, it's like 2008 all over again (in a good way)!. Go out and buy Justice's new cd, it's worth it.
So the always talented (and surprisingly responsive on facebook) duo known as The Killabits from Canada are giving away 8 free releases, of all new stuff they've been working on. Rejoice! It doesn't matter if you celebrate Hannukah or Christmas or anything else, there's always something to celebrate about during the holidays. I'll try to keep up and post the other upcoming 7 releases. Download the song directly here.
The one and only Amtrac releases a new remix for you to enjoy. He is great at giving away free downloads that happen to always be of high quality. Why don't you do him a favor and go like his facebook here?
This song is my favorite right now, a friend showed it to me. It's well known amongst the EDM community that you don't touch Daft Punk unless you can do them justice and I think that this really does.
Love him or hate him, you can't deny the fact that Skrillex has been making waves in the electronic music community for a while now. His signature sound, saturated with screetching synths and talking, wobbly basslines has transformed the way a lot of mainstream 'dubstep' sounds today. His five grammy nominations have propelled him to new heights of popularity for some, and caused the haters to be even more vocal. Personally, I can't spend an hour on facebook without seeing at least a few posts about Skrillex, most of which are negative, but as the saying goes, any publicity is good publicity. Whatever your opinion, you have to recognize that he has opened many people's eyes to a genre that was considered underground not that long ago. By no means do I give him credit for single-handedly bringing dubstep to the mainsteam audience, but for better or worse, the day has come where you can turn on your favorite music channel or radio station and hope to hear a dubstep track.
I leave it up to you, the listener, to make your own opinion on this remix. I am not a huge Skrillex fan, but I do appreciate some of the music he makes, and I definitely, genuinely like this particular track. Always remember though, before you waste precious time and energy hating on an artist, who works at trying to entertain you, that as the consumer, you alone hold the key to their success. Without listeners, and even more importantly, people buying the music, artists cannot survive. So whether positive or negative, in the end, you make the biggest impact on an artists career. That being said, enjoy, and please comment below to let me know how you feel about this argument.
Even a five year old would have no trouble whatsoever finding him online, so I leave it to you to support him anyway you choose...
