This is definitely the biggest thing to happen in the Electro-House / Progressive-House bootleg/mashup world since Market Price remixed the Jay-Z & Kanye West's album "Watch The Throne". The Girl Talk of EDM has arrived in the form of Basic Physics and you're going to like what you hear! I think this album will please pretty much everybody, even if you are not a big electro head. Schoolboy - Zombies Ate My Neighbours (Original Mix) [ELECTRO] + Stanton Warriors - Superstar [BREAKS]

Rottun Records, who is known for hosting great dubstep tracks, branches out a little with this artist. Schoolboy might be the one to watch in 2012, this track is fire. It's not brand spanking new, but I figured a lot of people had missed it anyway. Check out more of his stuff, he produces dubstep too, he's no one trick pony. Follow him on soundcloud here.

Haters gonna hate for ever but I personally think that Deadmau5 and Skrillex's presence at the grammy last week was a huge step for EDM music. Both of them are being accused of making EDM music commercial and everything but the truth is that they are both victims of their success. They produce music for the fans before anything else and the fact that they are able to reach a larger audience with their music ain't no crime but simply amazing. EDM music is not what it use to be anyway. We don't see those secret rave anymore which was a huge factor in making EDM music so underground. These days big producers play in front of thousands of people so between me and you, ain't that the ultimate goal of any artist ? After all we don't produce that music to keep it for ourselves. So in the end you might like them or hate them but the truth is, they are both very talented producer that changed EDM music for ever which is why I decided to share with you these two tunes. First, Deadmau5 latest release «Maths» which is excellent as usual and second, a very nice remix of skrillex's original tune «True Gangsters». Also, check out Deadmau5 interview with Carson Daly in which they talk about pretty much everything I just said. I would like to get your opinion on this post so please feel free to comment and let me know what you think about these two music pioneer.

Our local hero, New Hero, joined forces with Electrokill's contributor Momo aka Dj Pandastep to bring you an Electro banger called "Say What" using one of Samuel L. Jackson's super famous vocals from one of the best movies of all times, Pulp Fiction! I first thought that the track was going Progressive House from the beginning but what an awesome surprise after the first drop, beat just goes BONKERS! And the vocal is used perfectly! Beens - The Movement Mixtape [TECHNO] [ELECTRO]

Beens is an electro-driven project formed by the three young German producers Kristian Heuer, Simon Richter and Robert Roettgen. Located in the heart of Germany they were able to create their own unique style of electro music. Their productions & energetic DJ sets, which some call a crazy mix of “distorted electro bangheadz” and “drum´n´bass-techno”, caused quite a stir around the global scene. Since 2007 they destroyed dancefloors alongside no other than Mr.Oizo, Mixhell & Huoratron and rocked crowds from Malaysia to England over Sweden to Belgium and, of course, all over Germany. Expect more to come because making music that will make you move is what Beens are all about. I really hope I have the chance to see Beens live in the near future, I'm still so hooked on "Triolenmarsch", one of my favorite tracks of 2011, check it out in the free download section at the bottom of this post!
